Central Middle School Young Men in Action at a Glance

Young Men in Action (YMIA) is a character and leadership development program serving Central Middle School, Lawton High School and its feeder school. YMIA provides opportunities for community service, educational and training programs particularly for minority - underserve students. Our area of interest also include: programs designed to teach basic life skills, self-sufficiency, promote good citizenship, public service, improve reading and math proficiencies. The young mens are sponsored by Kenneth Stallworth, Central Middle School's 2017 LPS Champion for Children Honoree, and Deandre Swanson, LPS school teacher and coach, under the auspices of Blake Thomas, Prinipal, Central Middle School.
